Will I definitely be prescribed something?
No. COVID-19 treatment isn't right for everyone. Eligibility depends on how long you've had symptoms, your risk factors, and the medications you already take. Prescription antivirals such as Paxlovid® are one option a provider may consider, but they need to be started within days of your first symptoms. Your provider decides whether treatment is appropriate. Treatment may or may not result.
Does CallonDoc test for COVID-19?
No. An online visit can't perform a COVID-19 test. If you've already tested, share your result during your visit. If you haven't, your provider may suggest getting tested, which may require an at-home test or an in-person visit.
When should I get in-person or emergency care?
Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room if you have trouble breathing, chest pain or pressure that won't go away, new confusion, trouble waking up or staying awake, or pale, gray, or blue-colored skin, lips, or nail beds. If your symptoms get worse or you need an exam or testing, you may need an in-person visit.
