PRESCRIPTION FLU ANTIVIRALS ONLINE

Asking about Xofluza®, Tamiflu®, or generic oseltamivir for the flu? Talk to a provider while timing still matters.

The flu tends to hit fast: fever, chills, body aches, and the kind of tired that keeps you in bed. If you're searching for a prescription antiviral, you probably want to know quickly whether one makes sense for you.

CallonDoc makes the next step simpler. Flu antivirals work best when started within about 48 hours of your first symptoms, so a licensed provider can review your symptoms online and decide whether an antiviral is appropriate. That includes generic oseltamivir, the generic form of Tamiflu, not just brand-name medications.

Clear prices. Online convenience. Care that starts with what you need.

Flu care is $39.99 per visit. If medication is prescribed, pick it up at your local pharmacy.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost?
A flu visit is $39.99 per visit. Medication is purchased at your pharmacy and is separate from the visit price. Pharmacy prices vary, and generic oseltamivir is available, so it's worth asking your pharmacy about cost.
How do I get my medication?
If your provider prescribes treatment, the prescription is sent to the pharmacy you choose, and you pick it up there.
Will I definitely be prescribed Xofluza, Tamiflu, or oseltamivir?
No. You're welcome to ask about a specific medication, but your provider decides whether an antiviral is appropriate and which one, based on your symptoms, when they started, your age, your health history, and your other medications. Treatment may or may not result.
What's the difference between Xofluza, Tamiflu, and generic oseltamivir?
Oseltamivir is the generic form of Tamiflu, with the same active ingredient, and your provider can prescribe it instead of the brand name. Xofluza's active ingredient is baloxavir marboxil. All are prescription antivirals for the flu, and they work best when started within about 48 hours of your first symptoms. Xofluza is generally taken as a single dose. Oseltamivir (generic or Tamiflu) is generally taken twice a day for five days. Neither treats colds, COVID-19, or bacterial infections. Your provider decides which option, if either, fits you. If it's been longer than 48 hours, your provider can still review your symptoms and talk through your options.
When should I get in-person or emergency care?
Call 911 or go to an emergency room for trouble breathing, chest pain or pressure, confusion or trouble staying awake, a seizure, bluish lips, signs of severe dehydration, or symptoms that improve and then come back worse. Confirming the flu with a test may require an in-person visit.
Is CallonDoc an emergency service?
No. If you have a medical emergency, call 911 right away.
